RDG 467 was built by the American Locomotive Company in 1952. It carries series number 79873. It was one of about 75 RS3's built for the Reading. Primary use was hauling coal on the RDG's coal routes.

RDG 467 is now owned by the Anthracite Historical Society, whose primary role is the maintenance and preservation of America's railroading past in the coal regions of the country. It is on loan to Steamtown National Historic Site.
