Indian Campaigns Medal of Honor Recipient for action at Cedar Creek, MT and other sites from October 1876 to January 8, 1877. He was killed in action. His remains were never located. He served in the military as John Haddoo. He has an IN MEMORY OF cenotaph marker in Fort Gibson National Cemetery, Fort Gibson, OK in Section MA, Site 17.
