This is the radio contact, and observations post for vessels at sea in the area, and those entering or leaving Wooli Wooli River at the entrance. Their call sign is "Marine Rescue Wooli". It is a two-storey, small, octagonal building, with a public toilet block on the ground level. There is a gravel car park to the side of South Terrace.

Born in 1959 at Muswellbrook, the Hunter Valley of NSW. He was educated in Muswellbrook, and went to the Newcastle University to gain a Bachelor of Commerce; becoming a CPA. He Realtor, and managed his family's tourism business in Coffs Harbour.
As a representative of the National Party he was elected in the Cowper electorate of the MidNorth Coast of NSW, which covers Port Macquarie to Urunga.
