There are four different hikes running across this bridge: Hikes 2 (round), 5 and 6 of the Bad Essen Improvement Association and the DiVa-Walk, which is short for Dinosaurier, Varus, Wiehengebirge. It leads to the dinosaur prints in Barkhausen and the Varus Battlefield in Kalkriese and is 105 km long. This bridge connect two hillsides with each other leading over a street.
The ground of the DiVa-Walk changes several times on the course of its 105km. Mostly (and at the place where you stand) it is packed dirt (which is the reason I chose this) but it also runs on asphalt streets some kilometers.
