The village of Pavlov lies on the eastern foothills of the highest peak of Pálava Devín (550 m above sea level). This village was famous mainly for wine, monuments and archeology. Already in the 15th century, Pavlov was the largest wine estate of the Mikulov manor. The richness of the local winemakers is best illustrated by the wine cellars with Baroque shields.

Obec Pavlov leží na východním úpatí nejvyššího vrcholu Pálavy Devína (550 m n. m.). Tuto obec proslavilo predevším víno, památky a archeologie. Už v 15. století byl Pavlov nejvetší vinarskou obcí mikulovského panství. O bohatství zdejších vinaru svedcí nejlépe výstavné vinné sklepy s barokními štíty.
