The Garden Lovers Club of Middletown, NY has established a Blue Star Memorial By-Way to honor the nation's service men and women in Thrall Park, in the center of Middletown. The dedication took place on May 7, 2017. The monument consists of a bronze plaque mounted on a rectangular granite base with an arched top. The plaque contains a blue star and is inscribed:
