FR:

Description architecturale:

The church of Mas-Thibert was consecrated in 1857, under the name of Saint-Honorat. It is the only church in the town built by architect Henri Révoil.

Before this implantation, the church of Mas-Thibert changed three times of place.

The one we see today was built at the end of the 19th century and consecrated in 1900.

Still used today, it houses many remarkable statues and relics. In 1995, a wooden Christ from the 14th century was discovered in the Réattu museum in Arles.

Architectural description:

In rectangular rectangular plan, closed by an apse in the oven, the building, raised in exposed rubble, presents a rather singular facade: the central part is occupied by a rectangular portal clavé in flat-bed that surmounts a bow of blind warhead in which fits a large wrought iron cross. The aisles are also decorated with blind arches. The elevation of the portal and its summit niche as well as the angles of the aisles are underlined by stones left projecting, as if the construction of walls of splitting had been planned but not realized.
