[GER] Das Gebäude wurde von 1906 bis 1908 nach Plänen von Albert Erbe errichtet. Bauherr war die Freie und Hansestadt Hamburg, die Bauausführung leiteten Bauinspektor Bauer und Baumeister Maetzel.
Das Hamburg-Wappen ist auf der Gibelseite in Richtung der Straße Klingberg auf Höhe des Dachansatzes zwischen drittem und viertem Stockwerk zu sehen.
[ENG] The building was built between 1906 and 1908 according to plans by Albert Erbe. The client was the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, construction was headed by building inspector Bauer and master builder Maetzel.
The Hamburg coat of arms can be seen on the gable side in the direction of Klingberg Street at the level of the roof extension between the third and fourth floor.

[GER] Das Wappen von Hamburg zeigt in Rot eine hervorkommende silberne Burg mit geschlossenem Rundbogentor, auf dem Zinnenkranz mit sieben Zinnen drei Türme, die beiden Äußeren vierfach gezinnt und von je einem sechszackigen silbernen Stern überhöht, der mittlere großer mit Kuppel, darauf ein Knauf und ein Kreuz.
[ENG] The coat of arms of Hamburg shows in red a protruding silver castle with a closed round arched gate, on the battlements with seven battlements three towers, the two outer ones tinned fourfold and each heightened by a six-pointed silver star, the middle big one with dome, on it a knob and a cross.
