You will find on this map all the information necessary for a beautiful walk in this forest (path, paths, ....). The forest of Lappersfort is considered by ecologists as a symbolic file for other threatened forests in Flanders.
The forest of Lappersfort is a forest located on the Vaartdijkstraat in Sint-Michiels, district of Bruges. A piece of zonal forest where there is a lot to do. The size of Lappersfort is about 17 hectares, including 13.5 hectares of forest park. These 13.5 hectares were bought by the Flemish government and the city of Bruges in 2008.
The soil is colored in industrial zone. The industrial area "Ten Briele" was created in 1977 in the regional plan. A natural forest developed because the site was not used. Old trees, shrubs, plants and small animals have thrived in this forest.
Part of the Lappersfort Forest was destroyed to build sheds and offices, but the Lappersfronters took action. A new forest was built under the name of Lappersfort Zuurstofbos. It is located at the intersection of Klemskerkestraat and Stuiverstraat in Ostend. This initiative is the result of a collaboration between the Ostend City Council, the occupants of Lappersfort Forest and Friends of the Earth International.

Le sol est coloré en zone industrielle . La zone industrielle « Ten Briele » a été créée en 1977 dans le plan régional . Une forêt naturelle s'est développée parce que le site n'a pas été utilisé. Vieux arbres, arbustes, plantes et petits animaux ont prospéré dans cette forêt.
Une partie de la forêt de Lappersfort a été détruite pour construire des hangars et des bureaux, mais les Lappersfronters ont pris des mesures. Une nouvelle forêt a été construite sous le nom de Lappersfort Zuurstofbos . Il est situé à l'intersection de Klemskerkestraat et de la Stuiverstraat à Ostende . Cette initiative est le résultat d'une collaboration entre le conseil municipal d'Ostende, les occupants de la forêt de Lappersfort et les Amis de la Terre International .

De grootte van Lappersfort is ongeveer 17 hectare, inclusief 13,5 hectare bosgebied. Deze 13,5 hectare werden in 2008 gekocht door de Vlaamse overheid en de stad Brugge.
De grond is gekleurd in industriële zone. Het industriegebied "Ten Briele" werd in 1977 in het regionale plan opgericht. Er is een natuurlijk bos ontstaan omdat de site niet is gebruikt. Oude bomen, struiken, planten en kleine dieren hebben gedijen in dit bos.
Een deel van het Lappersfort Forest werd verwoest om loodsen en kantoren te bouwen, maar de Lappersfronters ondernamen actie. Een nieuw bos is gebouwd onder de naam Lappersfort Zuurstofbos. Het bevindt zich op het kruispunt van de Klemskerkestraat en de Stuiverstraat in Oostende. Dit initiatief is het resultaat van een samenwerking tussen de stadsraad van Oostende, de bewoners van Lappersfort Forest en Friends of the Earth International.
