No more than an acre in size, the cemetery is not yet a quarter occupied. With no nineteenth century burials that we can be certain of, the oldest legible headstone is that of Herbert Everett Teal, who died on 20 Feb 1903 at the age of 9 years, 10 months. There are several illegible stones, so there still could be some pre 1900 burials here. With some recently dated stones, the cemetery is obviously still in use. To our knowledge this is the only cemetery at the little seaside village of Broad Cove.
Find A Grave tells us that there are at least 48 headstones to be found in the cemetery, which appears close to the mark.
