This culvert is a well-kept secret and we would not have noticed it except for watching the terrain and looking for low spots. The west end of the culvert is hidden in a tree line, and the south end is well below the roadway. On climbing down into the foliage, we found this to be a stone-lined culvert, constructed not of concrete, or small sandstone bricks, but hand-hewn stones. The path of the culvert travels downward west to east. The opening is approximately 5 ft. wide and 5 ft. high.

We had to do some digging to expose the WPA shield, which was under layers of red Oklahoma dirt. It verified that this was built by the WPA in 1937.
