The entrance to Gatlin Cemetery is on the north side, along the Tennessee/Alabama state line. The grounds are well maintained and there are lots of trees among the burials. A very large percentage of markers here have flowers in vases, making this such a beautiful sight upon arrival.
Major League baseball player George David "Slick" Coffman is laid to rest here.
