This cemetery is on private land, but is accessible to the public. The cemetery itself is over .3 miles away from where the topographic maps put it, which is rare. The landowner is very friendly and answered a lot of questions. In fact, he did more than that.
Do NOT attempt to drive to this cemetery in any vehicle that isn't an off-road 4WD vehicle. Period. The lane, running due west, is not hard to descend toward the cemetery. You are behind cattle guards, so watch for the curious bull. The turtles sunning on the rocks at the little pond by the cemetery are cute.
Driving back east, you have a difficult hill to ascend. The landowner insisted that we borrow his 4WD pickup truck to drive the lane! "Here are the keys." So my wife and I drove down to the cemetery, looked around for a while, keeping the bull in sight when outside of the cemetery fence. Then on the way back up the lane, the truck was spitting and spewing rocks and gravel climbing that hill.

But it was worth the visit. It ain't for the faint of heart. And you may want to take the landowner's offer to use his pickup for the trip from his home over to the cemetery and back. Sit with him a spell and learn about the history of this beautiful area.
