Dundee was once a small town of a few hundred people, but a 1929 tornado and the Great Depression really were its death knell. Today, Dundee is a quiet, rural community. A notable burial here is that of Alex Albright, a rancher and banker who was a Dundee mover and shaker, and a Texas Historical Marker for him stands on US 277, northeast of Dundee.
