The National Capital Commission (NCC) maintains waypoint signs throughout the Greenbelt, a natural area which surrounds the city of Ottawa. The waypoints mark trail intersections. The signs include geographic co-ordinates and a map of other waypoints.

NCC trail #29 west from this intersections leads to parking lot P12 and/or the Bruce Pit dog park. To the east, the Greenbelt Pathway also goes to the dog park and P12 but on a longer, smoother trail. Heading south from this intersection goes towards West Hunt Club Road and the trail head at the west end of Siskin Court. From my early days of geocaching, I can remember how difficult it was to cross the ditch just south of 29 C.
