The Redeemer is an excellent bronze sculpture by talented artist Mike Kopriva. There is a natural stone raised flower bed with plantings of corn and wheat, which is most fitting for the sculpture.

This is quite a tall sculpture at about 8 feet. There are very defined feature showing the determination of this rancher. He is holding a branding iron with "1st". He is complete with bib overalls, cowboy hat and boots. He is also carrying a shovel, most likely to open clogged channels in the fields.

The Redeemer represents one of the many homesteaders to the area. This was an arid part of Wyoming until the recrimination project of the Shoshone River in the early 1900's. This project provided irrigation to the area making it possible to grow crops especially corn and wheat.

Cattle ranching became an important part of the local economy with some herds in excess of 25,000 heads. As a side note; in 2011 there were in excess of 29,000 registered brands in the State of Wyoming.
