When the building was constructed in 1939, the Women's Culture Club obtained a 99-year lease from the county. The structure was a collaborative effort (70%/30%) between Works Progress Administration and the literary club respectively.
One-story native flagstone-veneered building on southwest corner of courthouse square, with L plan and Intersecting clipped-gabled roof. Casement windows. Addition on north end made in 1970s. Easternmost room of Interior, originally the Club Room for Llano's Women's Culture Club, distinguished by native stone fireplace studded with geodes.
