I am 100% sure that this spot can reached from the 'Old Pacific Highway' as there is an underpass of the Expressway / Motorway/Freeway that allows ready access, not just for vehicles heading south (from Newcastle for example), but also those that have chosen the VERY windy route of the Pacific Highway from Mount White to Brooklyn. [Despite what 'Explore Australia' website says, it is possible, just a bit circuitous, if you are heading south.] (

The parking bays are nice and wide,to give plenty of clearance for the backing up of boats and caravans. I think there would at least x 30 long bays, with extra bays suitable for 'Motor-home' style vans. While the Rest Area is very close to the Expressway, I didn't notice the noise at all, and was soon asleep - I had driven from Wagga Wagga, and didn't want to risk another 3 hours drive home while tired.
While I didn't get a photo of it, I saw a 'Dump Point' for vans. The toilets were in good condition.
