EN: The church in Oltingen was first mentioned in 1296. It has been reformed since 1529.
The sundial at the church tower is decorated with the three municipal coats of arms of the parish. In addition to Oltingen, Wenslingen and Anwil belong to it. Since two of the three arms were introduced only in the 1940s (I could not find any information about the third one), the current look of the sundial can not be older.
DE: Die Kirche in Oltingen wurde 1296 erstmals erwähnt. Seit 1529 ist sie reformiert.
Die Sonnenuhr am Kirchturm ist mit den drei Gemeindewappen der Pfarrei verziert. Neben Oltingen, gehören noch Wenslingen und Anwil dazu. Da zwei der drei Wappen erst in den 1940er Jahren eingeführt wurden (über das dritte konnte ich keine Angaben finden), kann die Sonnenuhr in dieser Form auch nicht älter sein.
