Fr:L’association Les Bateliers du Cher, est reconnue depuis plus de vingt ans pour son savoir faire dans différents domaines, dont l’objectif est de faire connaître la batellerie historique de Savonnières.
De mai à octobre l'association propose des balades sur le Cher , à bord de bateaux traditionnels.
GAILLARD: Nom du Pillard, typique du Cher, était en service du Berry à Savonnières. Le Pillard est un type de bateau moins long et moins large que le chaland de Loire et chargeant environ 50 tonnes.
Le pillard est une réplique du bateau représenté en amont du Château de Chenonceau sur un dessin de Constant Bourgeois fait en 1800.

The association Les Bateliers du Cher, has been recognized for more than twenty years for its know-how in various fields, whose objective is to make known the historic shipping of Savonnières.
From May to October the association proposes walks on the Cher, aboard traditional boats.
GAILLARD: Name of the Pillard, typical of the Cher, was in service from Berry to Savonnières. The Pillard is a type of boat shorter and narrower than the Loire barge and loading about 50 tons.
The looter is a replica of the boat represented upstream of the Château de Chenonceau on a drawing of Constant Bourgeois made in 1800.
