In Boston's Dorchester neighborhood and within Cedar Grove Cemetery is mausoleum #1 as marked on the map for the cemetery.

Cedar Grove Cemetery is near the southern edge of Boston and is bounded by Granite Avenue, Milton Street, Adams Street, and Butler Street, and by the Neponset River Greenway.

The mausoleum is in the western section of the cemetery, next to lot 30. There are two identical mausoleumes. No. 1 is the northwestern of the two.

The structure is the shape of a brick. The face with the names is lined with dark red granite. On the back and short ends is a rough stone block face. The red granite tiles are arranged in a 4 x 9 pattern. Stones have white lettering - not all - probably some are still available.
History:
The mausoleum is part of the Cedar Grove Cemetery. This is likely more modern than the founding of the cemetery in the 1800s.
