The hôtel Goüin
Fr:L'hôtel Goüin est un hôtel particulier du XVe siècle situé à Tours, un des rares vestiges de l’architecture Renaissance de la ville.
C'est une demeure de marchands et de soyeux édifiée au XVème siècle.
Sa façade est un chef d'oeuvre inspiré de la Renaissance italienne.
L'hôtel a appartenu au marchand René Gardette au milieu du 16e siècle. Il est passé en 1738 aux mains de la famille Gouin, qui lui a donné son nom définitif. Cet ensemble a subi de nombreuses restaurations qui ont altéré son aspect d'origine.
L'hotel Gouin est classé monuments historiques depuis le 7/08/1941.
La demeure a rouvert ses portes au public depuis 2015 après une renovation de trois ans.
Actuellement c'est un hôtel particulier appartenant au Conseil Départemental d'Indre-et-Loire, et accueillant des expositions.
