This park is located on the west side of Highway 81, south of Beech Street. A WPA-constructed swimming pool and bathhouse are located down the hill from the amphitheater.

The amphitheater is built of sandstone and has a concrete platform. There is a rectangular portion at the front, raised about three feet from the ground. Concrete half-walls then divide this area from a smaller platform in front of two concrete semi-circles for seating. On each side of these walls, a WPA shield is stamped in the concrete, showing 1938. The back wall of the amphitheater is approximately eight feet high and constructed of native sandstone. A local source told us that back in the 1950s or 1960s, a cage was attached to the platform which held live monkeys. It is possible to see where pipes have been embedded in the flooring.
