„Maria, Maienkönigin, dich will der Mai begrüßen“, heißt es in einem alten Marienlied. Auch die Pfarreien von Brohl und Niederlützingen möchten die Verehrung der heiligen Maria Muttergottes mit der traditionellen „Wallfahrt zur Lammertaler Kapelle“ am 01. Mai zum Ausdruck bringen. Daher laden die beiden Pfarrgemeinderäte der Pfarreien „St. Johannes d. T“ und „St. Lambertus“ alle Gemeindemitglieder aus den beiden genannten Pfarreien sowie aus der Pfarreiengemeinschaft „Breisiger Land“ sehr herzlich zur Wallfahrt am Donnerstag, 1. Mai ein. Beginn der Wallfahrt ist in Brohl, um 18.45 Uhr sowie in Niederlützingen, um 19 Uhr. Treffpunkt ist jeweils an den Pfarrkirchen. An der zwischen Brohl und Niederlützingen gelegenen Marienkapelle findet unter freien Himmel um 19.30 Uhr eine Heilige Messe zu Ehren der Mutter Gottes statt.
Die musikalische Gestaltung übernimmt dabei der Musikclub Fidelio."
