The Black Lion is located behind the church of St Edward the Confessor.
This is a village pub, that has recently been refurbished in the modern rustic style, it is partially divided into two areas by the original fireplace. Meals are served at lunch times and there is a outdoor patio area to the front, and an enclosed beer garden to the rear.

The guest beers can come from a wide range of breweries, including micro-breweries far and wide.

AWARDS: Staffordshire Moorlands Sub Branch Pub of the Season (Spring 2015).
