I found this (accurate) sundial while photographing the campus at around noon on a sunny day.

From Loyola's website: "The E. M. Cudahy Memorial Library was completed in 1930 and is named for the late Elizabeth M. Cudahy. The original building had an extension added on in 1969, and most recently, the Klarchek Informations Commons was added in 2007. The library houses the university's fine arts, humanities, science and social sciences collections as well as the University Archives and government document depository collections.

The Elizabeth M. Cudahy Memorial Library is the main library of Loyola University Chicago. The Cudahy physical collections comprise more than 900,000 volumes and 3,200 periodical subscriptions; online resources include hundreds of research databases, thousands of e-books, and over 35,000 journal titles."
Sundial Type: Vertical - Wall mounted dial plate
