This small wooden gazebo is a resting point and viewing spot for anyone hiking the short and easy "Hale lake loop trail" within Brazos Bend State Park, Texas. While only 0.1mi from the nearest parking area as the crow flies, it will actually take you about 1 mile to make it to the gazebo due to the lake's oxbow shape and the trail's general track.
Note to future waymarking visitors: the gazebo can also be spotted from the lake's fishing pier (it's across the lake, and therefore MUCH closer to the parking lot), but seeing it up close is obviously a lot more fun from a waymarking point of view. :)
