East Helena Cemetery is located in Lewis and Clark County, Montana. East Helena is about 8 km. east of downtown Helena with a population of approximately 1,984 residents.

East Helena Cemetery is approximately 23 acres in size with a few tall trees. There is chain link fencing around the perimeter with the sign for the cemetery attached. It is very well maintained with nice green lawn. East Helena Cemetery has approximately 514 known interments and was established in 1893 as indicated on the sign. Most of the headstones are upright granite rather traditional in design. There is one grave marker of four unknown soldiers.

The first known interment is of:

Robert Abercrombie was born in February 1860 and passed away on February 11, 1901 and was about 41 years of age.
