[NL] "Uit 1876-1878 daterende, 16-zijdige, conische, gietijzeren VUURTOREN naar ontwerp van Q. Harder en uitgevoerd door gieterij Penn en Bauduin. De toren is 55 m. hoog, is roodbruin geschilderd en heeft 17 etages.
Rond het gietijzeren lichthuis met koperen koepel bevindt zich een omloop rustend op opengewerkte consoles en voorzien van balustrades; tweede omloop met balustrade rondom onder de vensters van het lichthuis.
Toegangsdeur met deurroosters en spitsboogvormig bovenlicht met tracering van toten en driepas.
Spitsboogvenster met oorspronkelijk driepas tracering in boogveld.
Gedecoreerde gietijzeren trappen en gietijzeren kuip.
Aan de voet van de toren twee gedenkplaten.
Gebouw van algemeen belang wegens oudheidkundige waarde en uit een oogpunt van geschiedenis der technische ontwikkeling."

Around the cast iron light house with copper dome is a tower resting on openwork consoles and equipped with balustrades; second circulation with balustrade all around under the windows of the lighthouse.
Access door with door grilles and pointed arches with tracing of totes and tripod.
Pointed window with original three-pass tracing in the arc field.
Decorated cast iron stairs and cast iron tub.
At the foot of the tower two memorial plaques.
Building of general interest for antiquity and from the point of view of the history of technical development."
