It had been quite a few decades since I had last been down to Cams Wharf - in the days that the Pacific Highway, just up the hill, was THE way to Newcastle and beyond from Sydney. Between here and Swansea was some nasty bends, and occasionally the family would stop down by the lake to wait for a fatal accident to be cleared, so we could continue to Stockton, or return to Sydney.
These are 14-spoke Wooden Wagon Wheels, with a rusty steel rim.
