In Newport, just off Memorial Blvd, and at the north entrance to the Cliff Walk, is a map marking you are located, which overlooks Easton Beach.
Parking is a challenge in Newport, but there is public transportation available. We parked at Easton Beach's parking lot about a half mile east, then walked all the way along Memorial Blvd to Bellevue Avenue, took a bus to the southwest end of the Cliff Walk and walked the three plus miles back to this location. Then we walked back to Easton Beach.
The map is a flat sign installed at an angle. The map is oriented toward the east, with the ocean toward the east, Easton Beach to the left, and the walkway continuing west. At the location is a curved red arrow and black colored words, "you are here."
