Originally a World War II Tablet, this memorial was updated in recent years to include all conflicts and honor everyone from Gastonville that served their country in time of war.

According to Wikipedia, (visit link) , "Gastonville is a census-designated place (CDP) in Washington County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 2,818 at the 2010 census. It is bounded by the Mon-Fayette Expressway and State Route 88 and is a nice bedroom community for Suburban Pittsburgh"
