Baker Water Systems - 11HD Hand Force Pump with Syphon Spout
These Force Pumps have a built-in surge chamber, piston rod and packing nut, adjustable strokes and multi-position cap. Can be used to depths of 200 feet

I could make up a great frontier story...but it would be just that....a story.
This pump, obviously, existed long before the mobile home in front of which is stands. The pumps of this model were manufactured in the middle late 1880s.
My guess is this is a Baker 11HD pump.
I say guess, because the pump is on private property, and no one was home, and I do not wander around private property without permission. So, I could not read what was on the cast portion of the pump

How to find.:
Leave I-70 at exit 155, travel south on MO-Z about 5 miles to Calwood. In the center of town MO-JJ turn left (south) and go about 1 block...the pump will be on your left.

Visiting Restrictions:
Can be viewed from the State Hwy JJ, and parking on the state Hwy is OK...not much traffic...owner not home when I visited, but out here, if home they should grant permission to visit pump.
