This is a simple representation of a Ned Kelly 'bust'. Ned Kelly was a NOTORIOUS Outlaw, from the nearby Glenrowan District, and his 'Legend' is kept 'alive' here.
A stainless steel cylinder, with a slot for the 'eyes', or, for the mail, is facing the road. A circular piece of stainless steel is used to cap the letterbox, and it fits very well. Some 20 mm diameter rusty pipe has been bent into shapes to represent the Letterbox as holding two pistols. The address number [#2426] is left hanging by a short length of galvanised chain from the neck of Ned.
