Vallant Cemetery is a nicely kept cemetery west of Valliant, with approximately 2865 burials.
Milton Mayo's headstone is a tall stone slab standing on two flat platforms, the top one of which has the surname MAYO engraved. At the bottom of the vertical portion is a band of geometric designs, and above that the inscription. Above the name is a darker portion, with light engraving showing the letter "M" flanked by ferns, with a bow. And above that is the WOW seal.
The inscription reads:

Oct. 4, 1898
May 13, 1917
