Valliant Cemetery is located on Highway 70, west of the town of Valliant. This is a nicely kept cemetery with about 2865 burials at this time.

This is a traditional tree stump headstone. The stump is squared off and the engraving is on a rectangular panel. It reads:

James Cooper
Monk
Jan. 3, 1880
Nov. 12, 1918
Weep not papa and
mamma for me, for I
am waiting in Heaven
for thee.
