This one is interesting in its configuration. As this is a Woodmen of the World headstone, Mr. League was the member of the organization. One can speculate that the original idea was to have the "League" headstone marking the family plot, with a footstone for both of the Leagues. Instead, Mr. League has a footstone that says "Jacob" on the top, with "Born Oct. 2, 1865" and "Died Feb. 8, 1907" on the front. The plot headstone has the family name, "League", with the three links of the Odd Fellows (also a male organization) and the Woodmen of the World emblem in relief. Note the column and "fallen" flowers at its base. Mrs. League is listed below the family name, "Drucilla 1871-1944".
