The butterfly garden was started in 1992. Information says that it had around 110 different types of plants for nectar and larva environment. It is in rather poor shape when I visited. According to the County Extension people, there is no Master Gardener assigned to the Butterfly Garden at this time and they are relying on volunteers to do what upkeep is done.
