FR A Cotignac, le 27 octobre 1637, tandis qu'il était en prière avec ses confrères dans le chœur, le frère Fiacre eut une soudaine révélation intérieure: la Reine devait demander publiquement qu'on fit en son nom trois neuvaines de prières à la sainte Vierge, et un fils lui serait donné: la première neuvaine à Notre-Dame de Grâces en Provence, la seconde à Notre-Dame de Paris, la cathédrale, et la troisième à Notre-Dame des Victoires, (église de son couvent)

Six jours plus tard, le 3 novembre vers les 2 heures du matin, le pieux Augustin dans sa cellule est tiré de sa prière par des cris d'enfant. Étonnement et frayeur: il se trouve en face de la Vierge Marie, qui lui montre sur ses bras un enfant vagissant: « N'ayez pas peur, dit-Elle, je suis 1a Mère de Dieu, et l'enfant que vous voyez est le Dauphin que Dieu veut donner à la France ».

Neuf mois après que les neuvaines ait été dites, la reine de France donne naissance, après 22 ans de mariage stérile, à un fils qui deviendra Louis XIV de France.

Cette statue commémore cet événement en montrant la reine tenant son fils couronné.
EN At Cotignac, October 27, 1637, while he was praying with his confreres in the choir, Brother Fiacre had a sudden inner revelation: the Queen had to ask publicly that three novenas of prayers to the saint were made in her name. Virgin, and a son would be given to him: the first novena to Our Lady of Graces in Provence, the second to Our Lady of Paris, the cathedral, and the third to Our Lady of Victories, (church of her convent)

Six days later, on the 3rd of November, at about 2 o'clock in the morning, the pious Augustin in his cell is drawn from his prayer by cries of a child. Astonishment and fear: he is in front of the Virgin Mary, who shows her on her arms a child wailing: "Do not be afraid," said She, "I am the Mother of God, and the child whom you see is the Dauphin that God wants to give to France ".

Nine months after the novenas were said, the Queen of France gives birth, after 22 years of sterile marriage, to a son who will become Louis XIV of France.

This statue commemorates this event by showing the queen holding her crowned son.
