This bench is located at the southern tip of the Isle of Man facing 'The Sound' and the Calf of Man.

The area where the bench is located was gifted to the Manx National Trust by Sir Percy Cowley, former First Deemster of the Island. The area is popular with both islanders and visitors and offers magnificent coastal views and the opportunity to watch grey seals and numerous species of seabirds.

The bench is located just off the long-distance coastal footpath 'Raad ny Foillan' ('The Way of the Gull'). The path forms a complete loop around the Manx Coast.

The brown wooden bench has a slatted seat and back and arm rests.
The metal plaque is inscribed as follows:-
'IN LOVING MEMORY
KATHLEEN & ALAN BARKER
1907 - 1994 1909-1999'
