This benchmark is located on the North Fork Alsea River bridge about a tenth of a mile south of Ore Hwy 34 on S 1st St (Alsea Deadwood Hwy), Alsea, Oregon. The benchmark cap is located near the southwest end of the bridge in the sidewalk. The cap was set by the Oregon State Hwy Dept in 1927 and was stamped Z227, 292.1 feet.
