St. Joseph's Cemetery, established in 1866, is located about a mile SW of the town center. Across the street to the west is St. Joseph's Church, established in 1865. This is a very large cemetery, with a street entrance on the west side, and Irish Creek at the east boundary. A circle drive runs W-E thru the cemetery grounds. It appears well maintained and there are about 800 burials here, if not more. It is mostly flat ground, with very few trees.
