HP and Mary G. Canode Mausoleum - Amarillo, Texas - Mausoleums on Waymarking.com

This granite mausoleum is near the southern entrance to the Llano Cemetery. Two smooth granite steps lead to an entryway consisting of two bronze doors with glass upper. Flanking the first step on either side is a granite funeral urn that is open, possibly to accept flowers. Around the upper part of the stonework for the entryway are carved decorative leaves. The first course is smooth granite - the three upper courses are quarry-faced. The roof is stepped. The entablature reads: "H.P. and and Mary G. Canode" A cross with the lettes "IHS" top the structure.
