This almost exact replica of the Magellan eXplorist GPS receiver can be found in the village of Hythe, Alberta.
Located in the peaceful setting of Hythe Cemetery in Hythe, Alberta stands a monument to one woman love of geocaching.
According to her friends, "(she) was the best friend a person could ever want. She had a quirky sense of humour that was wonderfully infectious, and you couldn’t help but have a great time whenever you were in her company. Aside from geocaching, she especially loved playing (winning) games, travelling, playing poker, and driving her distinctive red Mustang ... fast, whenever she could get away with it! She was a phenomenal teacher who knew how to bring out the best in her students and who excelled at bringing FUN into the classroom. She will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her".
