Oklahoma State Highway #2 — “Jim Cook Highway” — 1963: Between Wilburton and the Latimer/Haskell County line. Cook served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives from the 24th Oklahoma Legislature in 1953 to 30th Oklahoma Legislature in 1966.
Jim Cook - USA - Oklahoma State Representative for Haskell, Latimer and Pittsburg counties.
Plaque reads as follows.
"Dedicated in honor of the honorable Jim Cook State Representative.
As a tribute for outstanding public service.
Authorized by joint resolution of the twenty-ninth Oklahoma Legislature in 1969."
Location: Oklahoma State Highway 2 at Haskell and Latimer County line.
