Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present sixteenth corner bears S89.9°W from T14S R10E S8 NW 1/16 COR, 1352' distant.

Hike generally W along the fence line and reach FR1102-700. The fence line jogs N about 50', then continues W to a fence corner and the sixteenth corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap in concrete; flush with the surface

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The sixteenth corner bears S, about 50' from the fence corner and is set in a mass of concrete 9" W of the fence line. An orange Carsonite post bears S, 48" distant. Found two ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the backsides.


What property is this mark defining?:
Private property SE from the corner, else Deschutes National Forest land. See also survey CS#00043 filed in the Deschutes County Surveyors Office.
