Wayside Shrine (Boží muka) - Novosedly, Czech Republic - Wayside shrines on Waymarking.com

In the fields behind the village can be found the pillar-like wayside shrine just at the road from Novosedly to Drnholec. On the square brick base there is a pillar divided into two parts. The lower part growing from the extended foot has smooth walls and it is finished by a profiled cornice, followed by a foot of the upper part ending with a distinctly crowned cornice ledge. On the ledge is a "lantern", the walls of which are framed by a fractured frame. The chapel is finished with a lined profiled ledge carrying a pyramidal roof.
