"An elecrtic lighting system accompanied by an alabaster tablet. The lighting comprises chandeliers throughout the nave and aisle (now fitted with energy saving bulbs). The tablet comrises a wall mounted oblong tablet of mottled brown alabaster with moulded border, a brass badge of the Royal Engineers at top left, and a gilded incised inscription in upright capital roman lettering.

IN PROUD REMEBRANCE/ OF/ CPL. LESLIE ARTHUR WALLIS, R.E./ WHO GAVE HIS LIFE/ FOR HIS COUNTRY/ ON D DAY, JUNE 6TH. 1944./ THIS TABLET WAS ERECTED AND/ THE ELECTRIC LIGHT INSTALLED/ BY THE PARISHIONERS OF/ BOYLESTONE."
