The "benchmark" in this case is the Fergus County Courthouse dome. Ordinarily the "benchmark" is the flagpole or a finial or ball atop the flagpole. Here he have a dome, a flagpole an a ball atop the flagpole - take your pick.

The courthouse itself is on the north side of Main Street/Highway 191, between 7th and 8th Avenues.

THE STATION IS LOCATED NEAR THE WEST EDGE OF THE BUSINESS DISTRICT OF LEWISTOWN, AND 200 FEET NORTH OF U.S. HIGHWAY NO. 87. THE BUILDING IS CONSTRUCTED OF YELLOW BRICK AND ITS DOME HAS A BLACK ROOF WITH A FLAGPOLE AT THE CENTER. THERE ARE CLOCKS ON FOUR SIDES OF THE DOME. THE HEIGHT TO THE BASE OF THE FLAGPOLE IS 96 FEET.
