Your quads will be burning when you get to the top of this staircase. The Fogo Head Trail rises from near sea level to 338' above sea level and you gain that elevation almost entirely through stairs.
So if the average stair is 8" high you will step up 506 stairs. For arguments sake, let's say there are 350 stairs along the way. There are about five separate staircases with the longest being about 150 stairs.
